Condolence: I am honored to have had the pleasure of working with Kay in the beginning of her teaching career at Marked Tree. She loved working with kids and it was evident every day. She celebrated with kids and she cried with kids; however, regardless of the situation, she chose to always focus on the positive and moving forward. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.
Condolence: Carolyn, I did not know your Mother, but through the beautiful obituary, I feel like I know her and believe that she was incredible. What a beautiful person Kay must have been. My thoughts and prayers are with you all! LOVE!!!!
Condolence: I'm am sad to learn this. She was amazing. I enjoyed her wisdom and benefited from her advice. We discovered we had a unique connection in that my Aunt Ruth was her Girl Scout leader and a school teacher as well her friend's mother (my cousin Margaret Green). I've missed her since she retired and only saw her a couple of times yet she remained dear to me. You are in my thoughts. I love you Kay Bray.
Condolence: I am so sorry to hear this sad news. Ms. Kay was one of my favorites at Marked Tree High School in the 1990s. She was very special to me during a very difficult time in my life. I loved her dearly and she loved me and so many others at MTHS. She will be missed. May God be with you all during this difficult time.
Condolence: Miss Kay was not only an amazing examiner, but a gracious therapist to us all. She had the unique gift of knowing when you needed a hug, a bit of advice, or a kick in the pants-all delivered with humor and kindness. She taught me how to fold dinner napkins properly and gave me steps to let my own daughters make mistakes. I want to be a "Miss Kay" when I grow up.
Condolence: Kay was such a wonderful person. I had the privilege of working with her at Albright Elementary in Newport. Kay was a true friend and encourager. My thoughts and prayers are with her girls and family whom she loved fiercely.
