Eddie Roger  Witcher
Mr. Eddie Roger Witcher, 81, of Harrisburg departed this life Monday, November 5, 2018 at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He was born August 14, 1937 in Wynne, Arkansas the son of George and Carrie (Smith) Witcher. Eddie was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Flora Mae (Vanaman) Witcher, several brothers, several sisters, and one grandson. He worked several years at Addison Shoe Company in Wynne as a machine operator, was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Harrisburg, and truly enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Eddie is survived by: one son, Roger and wife Angela Witcher of Cherry Valley and one daughter, Flora Marie Hampton of Harrisburg, seven grandchildren: Cassie (Justin) Miller, Leann (Rickie) Elmer, Joshua Witcher with fiancé, Carol Ann, Jonathan (Chloe) Witcher, David Witcher, Tiffany (Cody) Evans, LaDonna (Jonathan) Hall, sixteen great-grandchildren, and a loving companion, Gail Hall. Funeral services are 2:00 P.M. Thursday, November 9, 2018 with Bro. Ronald Tackett conducting the service at Jackson’s Funeral Home Chapel with visitation Wednesday, November 8, 2018 from 6:00 ~ 8:00 P.M. These men will serve as pallbearers: Justin Miller, Robert Smith, Jonathan Witcher, Joshua Witcher, David Witcher, and Roger May. Interment will be in Lewis Cemetery in Cherry Valley. Arrangements are by Jackson’s Funeral Home
